Expand description

A detected formation, with bar indices into the calculated bars.

Fields§

§kind: FormationKind

The formation’s shape.

§status: FormationStatus

Developing or confirmed.

§direction: Option<PatternDirection>

The confirmed direction; for a developing formation the direction its kind resolves in, None for a rectangle or symmetrical triangle.

§anchors: Vec<(usize, f64)>

The pivots that form it, as bar index and price, oldest first.

§boundaries: Vec<[(usize, f64); 2]>

Boundary segments as bar index and price at each end. A confirmed formation’s end at its confirmation bar, a developing one’s at the last bar.

§confirmed_at: Option<usize>

The bar whose close confirmed the formation.
