PlotType

Enum PlotType

Source
#[non_exhaustive]
pub enum PlotType { Line, Histogram, Circles, StepLine, Columns, Crosses, Area, TriangleUp, TriangleDown, BarColor, BackgroundColor, }
Expand description

Geometry for one output line.

Variants (Non-exhaustive)§

This enum is marked as non-exhaustive
Non-exhaustive enums could have additional variants added in future. Therefore, when matching against variants of non-exhaustive enums, an extra wildcard arm must be added to account for any future variants.
§

Line

Connected values, broken at missing bars.

§

Histogram

Bars from zero to the output value.

§

Circles

A circle at each defined value.

§

StepLine

Horizontal segments followed by a vertical change at the next bar.

§

Columns

Columns from zero, at 80% of the bar pitch.

§

Crosses

A plus at each defined value.

§

Area

Filled area between the output and zero.

§

TriangleUp

An upward triangle centred on each defined value.

§

TriangleDown

A downward triangle centred on each defined value.

§

BarColor

Repaint the source price bars using this plot’s per-bar colour.

§

BackgroundColor

Colour the full pane height at each defined bar.

Implementations§

Source§

impl PlotType

Source

pub const ALL: [Self; 11]

Every plot type, in the order a style editor lists them.

Source

pub fn name(self) -> &'static str

User-facing display name.

Source

pub fn incompatibility( self, overlay: bool, price_scale: bool, ) -> Option<&'static str>

Why a plot of this type cannot be drawn for a study, or None when it can. overlay is whether the study is drawn on the price chart, and price_scale whether it shares the price scale there, which a volume study does not.
