SignalShape

Enum SignalShape

Source
#[non_exhaustive]
pub enum SignalShape { Marker { time: DateTime<Utc>, price: Option<f64>, direction: Direction, }, Level { price: f64, from: Option<DateTime<Utc>>, }, PriceZone { from: DateTime<Utc>, to: Option<DateTime<Utc>>, price: f64, direction: Direction, }, Zone { from: DateTime<Utc>, to: Option<DateTime<Utc>>, low: f64, high: f64, }, }
Expand description

Where a signal sits on the chart, anchored by time so it keeps its place through zoom, interval changes and history loads. Prices are finite and in the symbol’s price units.

Variants (Non-exhaustive)§

This enum is marked as non-exhaustive
Non-exhaustive enums could have additional variants added in future. Therefore, when matching against variants of non-exhaustive enums, an extra wildcard arm must be added to account for any future variants.
§

Marker

A mark on the bar containing time, at price or, without one, beside the bar.

Fields

§time: DateTime<Utc>

UTC time at which the marker is anchored.

§price: Option<f64>

Marker price; None uses the direction’s default placement.

§direction: Direction

Direction used for marker placement and color.

§

Level

A horizontal line at price, starting at from or, without one, across the whole chart.

Fields

§price: f64

Price of the horizontal level.

§from: Option<DateTime<Utc>>

Start time, or None for a level across the whole chart.

§

PriceZone

A directional zone at one price, drawn as a line from from to to, or onward without to. Even a zero-duration zone remains visible and can be hovered.

Fields

§from: DateTime<Utc>

Start time of the zone.

§to: Option<DateTime<Utc>>

End time, at or after from, or None for an open zone.

§price: f64

Price of the resting level.

§direction: Direction

Side colour of the zone.

§

Zone

The prices from low to high between from and to, or from from onward without to. low is at most high.

Fields

§from: DateTime<Utc>

Start time of the zone.

§to: Option<DateTime<Utc>>

End time, or None for an open-ended zone.

§low: f64

Lower boundary of the zone.

§high: f64

Upper boundary of the zone.
