NodeSensitivity

Struct NodeSensitivity

Source
pub struct NodeSensitivity {
    pub smoothing: u32,
    pub prominence: f64,
}
Expand description

How studies::TradeProfile::nodes (requires studies) chooses volume nodes.

The default compares each price row with its immediate neighbours, which is the most sensitive setting. Raising smoothing or prominence leaves only the broader nodes.

Fields§

§smoothing: u32

Rows on each side of a row that are averaged with it before comparing; zero compares the rows as traded. Untraded rows count as zero volume.

§prominence: f64

Smallest rise of a peak above, or drop of a valley below, the higher respectively lower of its neighbouring plateaus, as a share of the largest smoothed volume. NaN counts as zero and values are clamped to 0..=1.
